BERLIN. The federal government’s anti-discrimination commissioner, Ferda Ataman, was outraged by the ban on gender language in schools in some states. These are “constitutionally problematic and serve a culture war on the backs of minorities,” she told the newspaper Mirror.

The background is rules Bavaria, Hesse and other federal states that, among other things, ban teachers from using left-wing fantasy language in schools. According to the anti-discrimination commissioner, insisting on correct spelling is an attack on the “general personal rights of women, intersex and non-binary people”.

However, Ataman likes to insult Germans

In line with this, an article from the Anti-Discrimination Bureau will be published next week defending the special gender symbols by pointing out that they would ensure that “people of all genders are addressed”. Anything else would be a “step back to the last century,” Ataman said indignantly.

The politician, who has repeatedly insulted white Germans as “potatoes” in the past, was elected to office at the proposal of the Green Party. Before that, she worked for left-wing and left-wing extremist groups. (ho)
