Gareth Southgate has spoken out after the Euro 2024 draw was sabotaged by a porn prankster. The live broadcast was disrupted on Saturday when sex noises started playing out loud from the audience.
Prankster Jarvo69, real name Daniel Jarvis, who was responsible for the Match of the Day prank less than a year ago, claims he was behind the prank.
Jarvis uploaded a video on X of him seeming to activate a device in the venue of the draw in Hamburg from his home. Speaking in the video Jarvis said: “We are live, here we are in Germany, Hamburg, where we are doing a prank live on the Euro 2024 draw. Sorry man I am so f***ing pumped, and I’m just excited for it.”
However, Southgate didn’t take much notice of the crude joke. “Yeah… I heard something and putting two and two together I’m assuming there’s some sort of prank going on but I couldn’t really make out what it was,” he said.
