Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors got himself into hot water again earlier this week when he was ejected at the very start of a game.

Following his latest ejection, some people are calling for a big change.

Kendrick Perkins is one of those people, and he said the Warriors need to let go of Green on the latest episode of “First Take.”

“It’s time for the Warriors to part ways with Draymond Green,” Perkins said.

“Once a person shows you who they are, you have to believe them,” he added, before saying that Green was “stuck in his ways” and “not going to change.”

It would be one thing if Green was acting out again as his Warriors sat toward the top of the Western Conference standings.

But the team is currently fighting to even reach the Play-In Tournament in a few weeks, which means they need Green to be performing to the best of his ability.

Losing him, even for one game, is hugely detrimental.

It’s also even worse because of the past that Green has and the promises he had made to correct his actions and avoid more suspensions and ejections.

The Warriors need reliable players and Green’s actions are making him unreliable, which is leading to Perkins and others calling for his departure.

But just because Perkins thinks Green should go doesn’t mean it’s going to happen.

The team has repeatedly stood by his side and he’s remained a core part of the franchise for years.

However, if Green experiences more ejections or suspensions, it’s possible that the front office will be forced to have some very difficult conversations and make some very hard decisions.
