RAF fighter jets dispatched to intercept Air India passenger plane after the Boeing 777-300 reported a bomb on board.
The plane flew over Norfolk en route to Heathrow before the Typhoon interceptors encountered the aircraft.
A Dutch plane enthusiast recorded audio of pilots alerting air traffic control. The captain can be heard saying: “We have a suspected bomb on board, we are requesting a priority landing.” »
The Air India plane has since landed safely.
