The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly bought a “vacation house” somewhere in PortugalOr Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank their own home at CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club in Melides.
Although it is unclear whether Eugenie inspired the Sussexes’ decision to purchase property in Portugal, royal expert Jennie Bond has claimed that the move could be seen as an attempt for the Sussex children to have a certain type of connection with their royal family.
She said ALL RIGHT!: “I think this perhaps suggests that they want their children to know at least some of their British family. It will be good for Archie and Lilibet to spend time with their little cousins, and Eugenie will remain an important link between Harry and the rest of his family.
She added: “I’m not sure why they feel the need to buy a place… especially since Harry has complained about lack of money in the past… rather than just staying with Jack and Eugenie or rent accommodation, but it suggests that they intend to spend more time on this side of the Atlantic And this is a positive decision because it implies that the children will not only be immersed in American culture. and will better understand their European roots.
