Toni Kroos ends his career in the summer. The 2014 world champion is looking forward to the next one European championship end in summer. That made the difference for the 34-year-old midfielder Real Madrid in his podcast “Einfach mal Luppen” and on Instagram.

Kroos can already look back on an extremely successful career. He is the only German player to have done this five times Champions League won four times with Real and once with FC Bayern Munich. He is also in the final of the premier class with the Madrid team this season. Real will play Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium in London on June 1.

Kroos, who has also scored 108 goals for Germany, is considered an icon for the Royals. After ten years in the jersey of the Spanish record champion, his contract expires in the summer. The midfielder also played for Bayer Leverkusen and FC Bayern in the Bundesliga during his career. He had his too in February coming back announced in the DFB jersey.
