The Miami Dolphins have gotten hit hard in free agency, as they have already lost Christian Wilkins, Robert Hunt, Andrew Van Ginkel, Brandon Jones, Cedric Wilson, and many more key members to their roster.

NFL legend Chad Johnson is looking towards the future, as he has a mutually-beneficial idea for the Dolphins and one particular star receiver who he believes would be a strong fit in South Beach.

Johnson went on his show Nightcap with Shannon Sharpe and campaigned for the Dolphins to sign Michael Thomas, and he wants the injury-prone star to come train with him in Miami to get him prepared for the 2024 season.

“I would love to have you down in Miami, come to Miami, call the Dolphins,” Johnson said.

Thomas’ stock has plummeted in recent years due to a litany of injuries, and Johnson promoted how he had an 11-year career with no major injuries and explained how he could help Thomas get acclimated and prepared in Miami.

Thomas put up 39 catches for 448 yards and one touchdown last season.

Since his historic 149-catch season in 2020, Thomas has played just 20 games over the past four years and put up just over 1,000 receiving yards in those 20 games.

Miami has a severe lack of depth behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle at wide receiver and could stand to benefit from having a veteran technician like Thomas alongside it’s two star wideouts.
