With only a few weeks left before the Chicago Bears are on the clock with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, speculation has run rampant about the talented young quarterbacks in this draft class and where they might land come April 25.

Although the consensus right now is that USC superstar Caleb Williams will be headed to the Windy City, the real intrigue in the draft starts at No. 2 overall when the Washington Commanders have to make their decision on who they’ll bring in.

All signs point to the Commanders being one of the many teams at the top of the draft expected to select a quarterback, with Drake Maye out of the University of North Carolina potentially being the team’s choice at No. 2.

However, there’s been a lot of talk lately about Maye and the other quarterbacks in the draft in terms of which players should go where, and Chris Simm of CBS Sports seems to feel that Maye could be overrated while Michael Penix Jr. is underrated.

After Williams, who isn’t perfect by any means, there are a lot of flaws in the other quarterbacks in the draft, with Maye having his issues, as Simms pointed out, and Penix being a health concern.

Even the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Jayden Daniels, has his flaws, as some believe he could struggle in the NFL due to his size and the risks he takes by trying to make plays with his legs.

Regardless of these flaws, it will be interesting to see where these quarterbacks end up landing in the draft in a few weeks.
