The employees of a supermarket in Bad Schwalbach prevented shoplifting. As the Police They reportedly caught three suspected thieves red-handed and detained them. One of the men, aged 27, 29 and 37, is said to have initially destroyed goods on Thursday afternoon. According to the information, he tried to distract attention from the other two suspected thieves, who simultaneously began packing groceries into bags. When the employees saw this and blocked the trio’s path, the 29-year-old is said to have threatened one of the employees and pushed him to the ground.
The supermarket staff held the suspects until the police arrived. According to their own information, they have started an investigation against all three. The 29-year-old man has also been taken into custody and must be brought before the judge, it was said.
