Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 1.04% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the were Rockwool International B (CSE:), which rose 7.70% or 142.50 points to trade at 1,993.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) added 6.36% or 11.98 points to end at 200.20 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:) was up 4.02% or 36.40 points to 941.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (CSE:), which fell 2.00% or 2.90 points to trade at 142.30 at the close. Oersted AS (CSE:) declined 1.79% or 6.90 points to end at 378.60 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) was down 1.18% or 6.20 points to 521.20.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 62 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.68% or 0.50 to $73.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.66% or 0.52 to hit $79.11 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 4.35 to trade at $2,055.75 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.13% to 6.93, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 103.93.
