The Buffalo Bills lost one of their best players, and it cost them plenty of money.

Overall, the Stefon Diggs contract extension wasn’t a good deal for them, and they’ll have to deal with and it’s a big cap hit.

Some believe that speaks volumes about the Bills’ determination to move on from the Pro Bowler wide receiver.

He had starred in countless antics and character issues during his days there — and dating back to his tenure with the Minnesota Vikings — some it would be safe to assume that he may have outstayed his welcome in upstate New York.

Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean he didn’t have some friends in the locker room, as OT Dion Dawkins took to Twitter to wish him well and share some pictures of them together throughout the course of the years.

“Til next time,” Dawkins posted.

Diggs’ relationship with his quarterback didn’t seem to be in a good place, and he was spotted yelling at Josh Allen multiple times as well.

He demanded a bigger role in the offense more often than not, yet they fared much better when he took a step back.

Allen is one of the best quarterbacks in the game, and he should still find success regardless of who’s out there, but there’s no doubt that the Bills’ offense could take a big hit after losing both Diggs and Gabe Davis in the same offseason.

As of now, it seems like the Houston Texans have won the trade, but given his antics, only time will tell at this point.
