Princess Kate took part in a royal community engagement with Prince William in Southport yesterday for the first time since his cancer diagnosis.
The couple, who met with rescue workers and the families of the three girls stabbed to death during a dance class earlier this year, were in town for a few hours.
While many were happy to see the 42-year-old princess feeling well enough to return to public office, many royal fans were also quick to notice the absence of Kate’s engagement ring.
Instead, the Princess of Wales wore a new collection of jewelry on her wedding finger, which fans were quick to catch on to.
According to GB Newsthe mother of three instead opted for a thin gold ring accompanied by what is believed to be a new “eternity band.”
Tobias Kormind, co-founder and managing director of 77 Diamonds, Europe’s largest online diamond jeweler, told GB News the new ring could symbolize William and Kate’s love.
He said: “Kate’s new ring could be a symbol of hope for new beginnings, with an emotional connection to the past.
“Eternity rings represent everlasting love, and this style of ring echoes the sentiment in the touching video, where Kate was seen spending time with her loved ones.”
Thursday’s new jewelry choice comes a little more than a month after the Princess of Wales video released confirming the end of his chemotherapy treatment.
