According to a DWD meteorologist, the renewed rainfall on Thursday will not reach last week’s levels. Nevertheless, the already swollen water and the wet ground can again pose significant dangers, including to life and limb.
The flooding situation between Kelheim and Passau has been tense lately, especially in Regensburg. The flood areas of Swabia and Upper Bavaria are also still suffering the after-effects. According to the Ministry of the Interior, three people were still missing.
