The New York Jets are hoping to right the ship ahead of the 2024 NFL season after having such a disappointing 2023 campaign after superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers went down with a season-ending Achilles injury, which derailed the team’s season.

Fortunately for New York, the team has already made some solid additions to its squad during the NFL offseason, with the Jets bringing in wide receiver Mike Williams and left tackle Tyron Smith to help bolster the offense.

Along with adding a few pieces to the puzzle in order to help out Rodgers next season, the Jets have also begun to address the defense as they recently made a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles to acquire linebacker Haason Reddick, which instantly makes this team better defensively.

With most of the substantial moves in free agency and on the trade market being made for the Jets, the team’s focus turns to the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Jets have brought in Washington State safety Jaden Hicks for a visit via Around The NFL.

The Jets currently have the No. 10 overall pick in the draft and might be able to land a potential game-changer with that pick, whether it be on offense or defense.

It’ll be interesting to see if the Jets give serious consideration to drafting Hicks after meeting with him this week, but if they do, it would almost certainly be in the later rounds of the draft as he is not considered to be a first-round talent.
