The Lord Vader: A Star Wars Story trailer for 2026 is fake and fan-made.

The “Darth Trailer” YouTube channel with 64.3k subscribers launched the above 1 minute 9 seconds long teaser with the title Lord Vader: A Star Wars Story. Since then, it has gotten close to 1 million views as of writing. As per the description, the supposed movie will arrive in 2026 and will delve “into the enigmatic past of Darth Vader.”

The description further reads:

“We may see echoes of Anakin Skywalker, the valiant Jedi Knight who tragically succumbed to the dark side. Was it a fateful lightsaber duel with his former mentor, Obi-Wan Kenobi, that set him on this path? The trailer ignites speculation with glimpses of intense combat, showcasing Vader’s mastery of the Force and his imposing red lightsaber.”

It concludes by stating:

“Will “Lord Vader: A Star Wars Story” explore Vader’s descent into darkness? Perhaps it will shed light on his unwavering loyalty to the Galactic Empire and his ruthless pursuit of the Jedi Order.
