Last season, the Baltimore Ravens had arguably the most talented all-around squad in the NFL, with the team being stacked on both sides of the football, resulting in Lamar Jackson and company winning the AFC North division title and wrapping up the top seed in the conference.

Unfortunately, the team’s success only lasted for one playoff win over the upstart Houston Texans led by rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud, as the eventual Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs proved to be too much to handle during the AFC Championship Game, even though it was played in Baltimore.

With the Ravens being arguably in a championship window right now, the team will try to capitalize on being as talented as they are on both sides of the football, but they will inevitably lose some players to NFL free agency like they did with Patrick Queen, who chose to sign with the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers.

Even though players coming and going is simply part of the business of professional sports, star cornerback Marlon Humphrey is admittedly struggling with Queen’s decision to join the Steelers in free agency.

“The combination of this high altitude atmosphere I’m in and what PQ just did has my chest hurting,” he tweeted.

The All-Pro linebacker played a pivotal role in the Ravens’ success during the 2023 campaign and is clearly a player the team didn’t want to lose in free agency, especially to a division rival.

However, the Ravens are still widely considered the team to beat in the division and potentially the conference, as Baltimore is expected to have another solid season.

Even though Baltimore lost Queen to the Steelers, the team did get a big boost to its run game on Tuesday, with star running back Derrick Henry agreeing to sign with the team.
