A new poll from Kaplan Strategies shows Donald Trump leading Joe Biden by 15 points in Michigan, a state Biden won in 2020.
Is this poll weird? Other polls show Trump ahead in Michigan, but not by as much.
Whatever happens, this is sure to strike fear into the hearts of the Democratic Party.
Red State report:
Race to the White House: Trump Beats Biden by 15 Points in Key States That Turned Blue in 2020
Six months before the November election, former President Donald Trump is leading Democratic incumbent Joe Biden by 15 points in Michigan, a key swing state. According to a Kaplan Strategies survey, the former president received 51 percent of the vote to 36 percent in the battleground state. The survey’s margin of error is plus/minus 3.5 percentage points.
The poll reported that Trump’s success was rooted in keeping his favorability ratio stable, writing:
The key to Trump’s dominance in our polls has been his campaign’s ability to stabilize his favorable to unfavorable ratio to a better level than Joe Biden has.
Abortion remains a major issue, and there is no consensus on how many weeks an abortion should be legal. This suggests that this issue is best addressed at the state level.
Other polls also show mixed results for Michigan. An Emerson College/The Hill poll released earlier this week showed Biden slightly trailing Trump in Michigan (44 percent to 45 percent), while a Bloomberg News and Morning Consult poll showed Biden ahead of Trump (47 percent to 45 percent). However, according to the latest polls, Trump is ahead in the polls over Biden in six other key states, and ahead in all states in the Emerson poll.
This would be amazing if accurate.

If Trump takes back Michigan in November, there will be a lot of left-wing dismay, that’s for sure.
