The start of the NFL’s free agency period has been crazy for many teams throughout the league.

Many marquee players have switched teams, giving them an opportunity to start fresh on a new roster.

Despite what many call a ‘feeding frenzy,’ some teams have been a bit more conservative, saving some of their cap space.

One such team to do that is the Washington Commanders, who, according to Ari Meirov, have the most cap space of any team in the league.

Meirov indicated that the Commanders have over $60 million in cap space, which could be a sign that this team is still looking to make a big move or two.

The Commanders had one of the worst records in the NFL last season, meaning they have a lot of work to do if they want to compete.

They have certainly added a few players that can help them accomplish their goals, but this large amount of cap space leads fans to believe that they aren’t done adding players.

Of course, the Commanders need to save some cap for the players they draft in April.

Since the Commanders hold the No. 2 pick in the NFL Draft, they are believed to be taking a quarterback with this selection, hoping to start over at the position.

As things currently stand, the Commanders are said to be in the market for either Jayden Daniels or Drake Maye, but it remains to be seen who the team will take, assuming they go with a QB.
