As far as we currently know, the Find X8 pair is expected to launch in China sometime in October. We already have a good idea of what kind of specifications wait and we even have seen The vanilla Find X8 is already out in the wild. Now we have some new photos of the Oppo Find X8 in the wild, unfortunately, wrapped in a pretty thick case.

Still, we can see enough of the phone’s design to confirm previous design leaks, such as the extra-large camera island on the back. We can also see that the case appears to have full cutouts for all of the microphones and sensors on the top of the device. This seems relevant, as it makes it unlikely that the case maker simply forgot to include a cutout for the supposed capture button which supposedly sits low on the right side of the phone. The button is also supposedly capacitive and not an actual button, so it’s not like you can press it through the thick case. Could this mean the Oppo Find X8 doesn’t have any extra buttons after all?
According to recent rumors, the Find X8 will use the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipsetjust like its Pro sibling. The display is said to be a 6.7-inch “1.5K” 120Hz flat panel. The handset will apparently have a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 3x periscope zoom camera. Keeping the lights on will be a 5,600mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging.
