According to Sports Zone, Milan’s Mike Maignan (26) is a priority target for PSG ahead of the summer transfer window.

The France international keeper is admired by Luis Enrique for his impressive ability to play out with his feet under pressure. This style seems to fit the passing style of play he encourages from his team. The Milan stopper came through the youth ranks at the Parc des Princes.

Maignan is courted by many clubs and he could be at the epicentre of a transfer saga in the summer window. Foot Mercato reported in December that Chelsea, Manchester United and PSG were all interested in signing the former Lille stopper. However, the French publication also reported that Maignan was happy in Italy and was in contract talks with Milan over potentially extending his stay with the club.

Bayern Munich also interested

As previously mentioned, Les Parisiens are unlikely to be unrivalled in the race to sign Maignan in the summer transfer window. Bayern Munich are keen on bringing the French goalkeeper to Germany in the summer, Sports Zone reports. The 28-year-old’s contract with the Rossoneri expires in 2026.
