The Houston Texans are absolutely stacked on offense right now.

They clearly liked what they saw from C.J. Stroud in his rookie season, and they’re ready to compete at the highest level right now.

They only had to give up a 2025 second-round pick to get a four-time Pro Bowl WR like Stefon Diggs, adding even more talent to the mix.

That’s why former NFL QB Robert Griffin III recently stated that even though the ink hasn’t even dried yet, they should already be considered the winners of this trade.

He’s right on point.

Even if Diggs isn’t the player he used to be, the Texans have a surplus of offensive talent, and his sole presence there will demand plenty of defensive attention.

The Texans have now given their standout young quarterback Joe Mixon and Diggs in the same offseason.

They also have Tank Dell, John Metchie III, and Dalton Schultz, not to mention the fact that Stroud is only going to keep getting better as the game slows down for him.

The Texans are making the most of the fact that their franchise player is on a rookie contract, knowing that it won’t be long before they have to break the bank and pay Stroud the big money he’s going to demand.

Diggs does come with some red flags and his character issues are well known.

But he’s stated that he’s all about winning and competing, and he should do plenty of both with his new team, so he should be just fine.
