The Kansas City Chiefs just lost a major contributor to their last two Super Bowls.

Trading star CB L’Jarius Sneed was a big blow for Steve Spagnuolo’s championship-winning defense, and it’s a blow they might not be able to recover from.

With that in mind, sports analyst Skip Bayless took to Twitter to express his disbelief regarding this move, stating that he couldn’t believe that the Chiefs actually traded the best cornerback in the game to the Tennessee Titans.

“I cannot believe the Chiefs traded the NFL’s best cornerback to the Titans,” Bayless said.

Truth be told, that statement could be considered a bit of a reach, as there are also guys like Patrick Surtain II, Sauce Gardner, Jaylon Johnson, and the Chiefs also have Trent McDuffie.

The Chiefs had no choice but to move on from Sneed.

He wanted to stay at Arrowhead Stadium for years to come, but they were in a tough spot, financially.

So, they had to give him permission to seek a trade, and after days of speculation, he wound up finding a new home on Brian Callahan’s team.

The Chiefs are in a pursuit to become the very-first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls, and losing Sneed is a big hit to their aspirations.

Then again, they have one of the best defensive coordinators in the business in Steve Spagnuolo, and they’ve proven to be more than capable of striking gold with the pieces they have at their disposal.
