On Monday, Qualcomm finally announces the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, formerly known as Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Now, a leaked AnTuTu score of a Realme GT7 Pro prototype is making the rounds, showing a record result of 3,025,991.
This puts it well ahead of Apple’s A18 Pro (which manages around 1.65 million points) as well as MediaTek’s. recently unveiled Dimensity 9400who scored in the range of 2.8 million last time we checked.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite is rumored to come in two iterations, a base one with two cores running up to 4.09 GHz and six at 2.78 GHz, and a premium option with two cores up to 4.32 GHz. Both versions feature the Adreno 830 GPU and are made using TSMC’s 3nm process.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite also scored very favorably in Geekbench, so it really looks like a very strong contender, and it appears to feature a huge generational leap in performance over its predecessor.
