HAMBURG. The Hamburg-Wandsbek District Court has sentenced a 20-year-old woman to a weekend of youth detention for insults and threats. The young woman had discovered the mobile phone number of one of the ten rapists from the city park in Hamburg and viciously insulted him. According to the Hamburger Abendblatt She allegedly wrote to him via the messaging service WhatsApp that he was a “disgusting freak”, a “rape pig” and that he would “not be able to go anywhere” in the future without being beaten up.
The convicted woman must spend a weekend in the Hahnöfersand juvenile detention center – from Friday evening to Sunday evening, Sun World reported. The woman was already known and had received a disciplinary measure in the past for petty theft of goods under the value of 25 euros. The current verdict against her is not yet final.
Only a gang rapist should go to prison
The act of the threatened and insulted man had caused horrors nationwide. He and nine other men repeatedly raped a drunken 15-year-old in Hamburg’s city park. Of the ten defendants, one was acquitted, eight received sixty hours of community service and suspended sentences each, and only one was sentenced to two years and nine months in prison.
The young men now convicted are between 16 and 20 years old. Five of them are German citizens, the others are from Montenegro, Syria, Kuwait, Afghanistan and Armenia. (st)
