Last Friday, shortly after the attack in Mannheim, the police union sent out a message saying that “we should expect massive outbreaks of violence and assassination attempts at any time in connection with the Palestinian conflict. The danger is present and real. This represents the greatest danger to our lives.”
Two days later, 29-year-old police officer Rouven L. was declared dead. Murdered by an Islamist assassin who repeatedly rammed a combat knife into his neck and head in front of the cameras. His asylum application? Turned down. Still, he was of course allowed to stay. Another case.
The decline in domestic security cannot be overlooked
Three days before the attack in Mannheim, the federal police, which reports directly to the Ministry of the Interior, sent a message about “Diversity Day 2024”. It says: “Diversity management is being implemented in the Federal Police. The aim of diversity management is to address all dimensions of diversity to which the Federal Police has committed itself by signing the Diversity Charter.” The whole thing ends with the phrase “We are safety and diversity”.
Downstairs the blood is flowing, while upstairs people are racking their brains about the “continuous promotion of diversity in the federal police”. In an authority on the brink of a state of emergency. That speaks volumes and says a lot about the priorities of those who are not on fire every day. Who don’t have to check ridiculous “no-knife zones” every day. Those who do not have to ensure that public space does not ultimately become a space of fear at train stations and trains.
Something is broken in Germany
The political reactions to this? Cheap. Minister of the Interior Faeser even wants to see confirmation of the fact that she has always warned against Islamism. As if that was ever the priority of their public statements. The Chancellor and the Federal President write the bare minimum. A press release here, a press release there. Checked out. They didn’t even think it was necessary to visit the crime scene. Or in the hospital. In France, such indifferent behavior would lead to dismissal. Now they want to deport them back to Afghanistan. Who believes it?
When an asylum center for Ukrainians burned down in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern at the end of 2022, Faeser was immediately there. Then she dropped everything and looked at the cameras in shock. A little later it turns out: the fire devil was a firefighter. There was no political motive. He wanted to be the first on the scene. The caravan had already moved on – or rather: the political circus.
Something is broken in Germany. Illegal mass immigration in recent years has shattered the social fabric in Germany like a millstone, leaving a country in a state of emergency. The Corona policy was just the icing on the cake.
Society is undergoing an epoch-making revolution
The great historical events that have shaped countries and entire continents for centuries do not happen quietly. But usually within a short time. Scientific progress works like an accelerator. Decades passed between the last great Roman emperors and the sack of Rome by the Germanic tribes. There were barely more than ten years between the 95 theses of a monk from Wittenberg and the renunciation of half of Europe from the papacy. There were still a few months between Merkel’s opening of the border in 2015 and the first major Islamist terrorist attacks – for example on Breitscheidplatz.
What does it do to a country when hundreds of thousands of young Muslims immigrate from dysfunctional, violent societies? Entire cohorts have already collapsed with a surplus of men that is simply not healthy. The result is inner cities where women hardly dare to go at night. Is a local public transport system where knives are pulled out every day. Often owned by people who have recently emigrated here.
The more violence, the more distraction
The more apparent the decline in internal security becomes, the more the political class responsible for it isolates itself in its ivory tower. Olaf Scholz considers himself the “most business-friendly chancellor” the Federal Republic has ever had. He is very serious. And such a person must have a realistic picture of what is happening on the marketplaces in Germany?
The more violence escalates on Germany’s streets, the more rainbow flags hang on public buildings – including in front of police stations. The more women become victims of gang rape, the more the critics of these conditions become targets. The more anti-Jewish pig graffiti is smeared on the walls of German universities, the quieter it becomes about the otherwise vaunted ‘Never Again’.
State of emergency in Mannheim
Society is in a state of psychological emergency. If Germany were human, it would not be the time for the psychiatrist, but for the lunatic asylum. If you don’t believe it, you should watch the scenes from the market square in Mannheim on Sunday. Three rallies took place there. The AfD announced a vigil that was not a vigil. It was hardly about the dying police officer. Instead, election calls came from shouting members of the Bundestag who at one point called for the reintroduction of military conscription and fought shouting duels with the counter-demonstration. The most important thing is to take a few photos for Instagram and a few videos for the internal meat inspection. Places on the list for the Bundestag will soon be chosen again.
This was crowned with a counter-demonstration from the city, in which the participation is almost exclusively what the anti-discrimination commissioner calls ‘potatoes’. “We Democrats,” someone shouted, actually referring to the Holocaust, which must now be prevented again. What more can be said about that? They weren’t worried about the police officer either. As one speaker said, they “didn’t want to destroy their multicultural Mannheim.” The proportion of migrants in Mannheim is 50 percent.
In the end, we are left with grieving police officers
A quick look at the city’s crime statistics: more violent crimes, more sexual crimes, more knife attacks. And then this sentence: “Compared to the years 2022 and 2021, the Mannheim police station again noted an increase in the number of crimes against police officers.” ? The question is purely rhetorical.
A few meters away, police had to surround a left-wing extremist Antifa demonstration, during which participants also attacked police officers. What must have been going on in their minds?
Moments later, after the demo tourists have left, they stand at the crime scene in front of the few flowers and candles. They are moving images. Helmet off. Heads bowed. In deep sorrow for her colleague. Quiet and reverent. Full of dignity. And at the same time they are terrible images. They are difficult to let go. Because they won’t be the last of their kind.
Rest in peace, Rouven🖤 pic.twitter.com/NYdhWptBKy
