Prince William made a joke about parenting today as he attended an event in London.

The Prince of Wales, 42, attended a community event hosted by the NFL Foundation on October 15.

The event highlighted the organisation’s efforts to support young people in some of the most deprived areas of the UK through flag football.

In addition to talking about this sport, which is a non-contact version of American football where tackles are made by removing flags that all players wear on their hips, Prince William spent some time trying it himself.

According to at the Daily Mailthe prince reportedly received three mini balloons for Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, before leaving the event.

He also received a life-size ball so his family could play the sport together at home.

The prince seemed delighted with the gifts and even made a joke about parenthood. He was heard on video saying, “Oh, that’s very nice.

“Never go home empty-handed is a crucial motto as a parent.

“That’s really nice of you.” Thank you so much. They will love it.
